Good Afternoon Mr. McCorkle,
The NC Division of Waste Management Solid Waste Section (Section) has issued a Permit To Operate (PTO)
for the Old 27 LCID Landfill in Gaston County. This PTO replaces your current operating permit effective
immediately. The new PTO expires on October 21, 2020.

Attached to this email are the following documents for your files:

 Permit To Operate 36A-LCID-2010 (DIN 26692)
 Approved Final Permit Renewal Application w/ updated Operations Plans (DIN 26690)

Hardcopies of the signed permit and approved plans have been mailed to you as well. Please keep copies of
these on site at all times as required in the permit.

Take special note of the requirement to install permanent durable markers to mark the waste disposal limits.
Ms. Kim Sue is the Section’s Field Operations specialist who will be inspecting this site periodically and she is
