Macon County MSW Landfill Facility
Macon County, Permit No. 5703-MSWLF-1992, Document ID No. 26706

Mr. Stahl,

The Division of Waste Management, Solid Waste Section (Section) has received the revised
Operations Plan (DIN 26705) and accompanying cover letter for the above referenced facility.
The documents were received in the Asheville Regional Office on August 31, 2016.

Per the cover letter, the Operations Plan had been modified to incorporate management of a tear-
off shingle recycling program at the Treatment and Processing Facility. Based on our review, it
appears the Operations Plan meets the requirements of 15A NCAC 13B.1625 and 13B.1626. As
a result, the document is approved and is now part of the List of Documents for the Approved Plan.
As part of the Approved Plan, the Operations Plan must be maintained on site and implemented
accordingly. The revised Operations Plan will be added to the Permit at the next issuance.
