This drilling request is in effort to better understand groundwater conditions in bedrock. Currently, three (3) wells, AL-2BRL, AL-3BR, and AL-4BR, are intended to be installed on the Dry Ash Landfill Phase II in locations of previously existing well pairs and clusters. One (1) additional well, AL-1BR, is planned to be installed adjacent to the Dry Ash Landfill Phase I next to an existing well pair. The approximate locations are shown on the attached drawing titled "Marshall Steam Station_Proposed Additional Wells_06_20_2016". Upon completion of monitoring well installation, Duke Energy will submit a well installation completion package to the Division noting actual well locations and depths including drilling logs for the wells specified above.
