The Solid Waste Section (Section) concurs with the facilities request for a time extension until January 16, 2026, regarding the submittal of the semi-annual ECMRs for the North Starter and South Strater Landfills. The Section agrees it is better to have the correct information in the reports than the reports be submitted within the compliance timeframe. Please don't hesitate to contact the (Section) if you have any questions or concerns. INTERNAL Elizabeth — Thank you so much for taking my call this morning. It was very helpful that the Section previously shared their holiday work schedule with Duke, which let me know you were an option to contact on a day when most folks are out of office, but of course I've copied Sarah and others here for awareness as usual. As discussed, I would like to kindly request extensions for the Allen Steam Station North Starter Landfill (NSLF) 3619-INDUS and South Starter Landfill (SSLF) 3620-INDUS Environmental Controls Monitoring Reports (ECMRs) forthe second semiannual (2SA) monitoring events of 2025. I discovered an error in the versions provided by our consultant after their key folks to make changes were already out of office for the rest of the year due to holidays and vacation schedules. The error is with regards to leachate management for both the aforementioned landfills and the Leachate Basin. The current draft ECMRs for the 2SA monitoring events included figures and narrative depicting the former leachate force main alignment and leachate management instead of the leachate reroute completed back in July 2025. I could still submit these ECMRs today with notes that the leachate force main alignment and leachate management descriptions are dated and for current information see respective leachate reroute CQA documentation, but my preference is to request extensions for both ECMRs and get the information updated prior to submitting to the Section. I do have Equis EDDs for both landfills containing sample analytical results available and have attached those to this email. Please let me know if you are amenable to extensions for both the NSLF and SSLF 2SA 2025 ECMRs through January 16, 2026. 1 believe that should allow sufficient time for folks to return to work after the New Year and make the respective changes to the reports. Thank you and Happy New Year!
