Sarah — As previously discussed, Duke Energy will be voluntarily collecting additional samples from the Industrial Landfill No.1 Leachate Basin. The purpose of the voluntary sampling is to collect additional information on parameter concentrations and to collect data on a more frequent basis. The data will be used to assist in effluent limitation guidelines implementation planning. Samples will be collected monthly through August 2024, beginning on January 30th. Attached to this email is a summary of the parameters that will be sampled. Samples will be collected from the same location that the composite leachate basin sample is collected from for the Environmental Controls Monitoring Plan and using the same sampling protocols. Results will be included in the semiannual monitoring report appendices as information. Please let me know if you have any questions with this notification. Regards, Ashley Healy Ashley L.
