At the time of the inspection, Section staff observed that all incoming C&D waste was now being contained to the repaired and expanded concrete tipping floor pad, all yard trash, as well as land clearing and inert debris, had been removed from the facility, and that all soils impacted by leachate had been removed. A soil assessment plan was submitted by BLE and approved by the Section on 5/2/2023, subsurface soils were subsequently sampled and analyzed, and the sample results were approved by Connal Boyd, Section Hydrogeologist, on 7/18/2023. This letter serves to confirm that the requirements of the Notice of Violations dated October 19, 2022 and February 10, 2023 have been satisfied and the violations have been corrected.
