Good morning Ms. Moutos,
Thank you for reaching out. I did not know Mr. Chao retired, but I do remember our conversation about re-
submitting the revised application while we wait on Erosion Control approval. I will work on re -submitting this to
you in the next three weeks.
Currently we are in the review process for a revised Special Use Permit with Guilford County. We must obtain
this approval first, then follow with a formal site plan and erosion control submittal. We hope to receive Special
Use Permit approval during the September 131" Planning Board meeting.

My name is Sarah and I work with the NCDEQ— Division of Waste Management, Solid Waste Section - Permitting Branch.
Ming Chao, the permitting engineer that was reviewing your application for Fryar Grading and Hauling Landfill has
retired. The Section would like to check in and see how your application process is going. It appears one of the latest
email correspondences we could find from Ming to you was the December 9, 2022 request for you to submit the revised
permit application while you were waiting on approval of the grading permit/erosion and sediment control plan and
mining closure permit. We appreciate a status of this request and any other requests of this application review from the
