Dear Sir,
On July 21, 2023, David Powell representing the State of North Carolina, Division of Waste Management Solid
Waste Section (Section) conducted a compliance inspection of the above reference facility. At the time of the inspection, Section staff met with Ms. Thomas-Abat, Mr. James Powell and Mr. Dennis Miller for a follow up on
final corrective actions onsite. It was observed that all waste has been removed and documentation was
previously shared with the Section for the record on disposal. This site also has a Pre-Regulatory Landfill onsite, NCD980503031, and the city should consult Ryan Channel, Pre-Regulatory Landfill Unit Supervisor, at
[e-mail] or 919-707-8333, for any additional requirements, if any, would be needed from that
group.
This letter serves to confirm that the requirements of the Notice of Violation, dated 9/16/2022, from the Solid
