FACILITY COMPLIANCE INSPECTION REPORT Division of Waste Management Solid Waste Section Page 2 of 4 ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: 01 – All past John College inspection reports for this site (7202) have been entered into Laserfiche under 7201-Closed MSWLF. 02 – This site had an approved grazing trial implemented. 03 – Due to issues being caused by the cows, that has been abandoned. (See 7201_INSP_20211201 Report.) 04 – All the issues caused by the cows have been corrected. 05 – The landfill has just been mowed. Please keep mowed so inspections from DWM and ARHS staff can be conducted to ensure no leachate breakouts, bad erosion or other issues go un-noticed. 06 – No issues or violations were observed during this inspection. 07 – Monitoring wells were locked and tagged (all info not found to enter on the tags years ago), John College, DWM contacted Ervin Lane, DWM Hydrogeologist and it was decided to keep the identification tag numbered the same as in the past. No construction information found. 08 – Edge of Waste Markers are present. 09 – This facility is listed on the signage. 10 – Overall, facility looks good. Please contact me if you have any questions or concerns regarding this inspection report. ________________________________________ Phone: 919-268-1524 _ John College Environmental Senior Specialist Regional Representative Sent on: July 24, 2023 X Email Hand delivery US Mail Certified No. [ _] Copies: * Andrew Hammonds, Eastern District Supervisor - Solid Waste Section FACILITY COMPLIANCE INSPECTION REPORT Division of Waste Management Solid Waste Section Page 3 of 4 FACILITY COMPLIANCE INSPECTION REPORT Division of Waste Management Solid Waste Section Page 4 of 4
