The all-weather roadway had been completed around the LCID. 2. Signage has been posted at the LCID and at the entrance, near the CDLF. 3. The working face was small. A portion of the LCID had been covered with soil. 4. The waste stream appeared to be relatively clean. Several plastic bags were observed within the waste stream. The operator stated that he removed the unacceptable wastes prior to compacting and covering the waste. Ensure that unacceptable wastes are removed and properly disposed of prior to covering the waste. 5. No woody vegetation was observed within the LCID footprint. It is recommended that the vegetation within the LCID be mown on a regular basis to prohibit the growth of the vegetation strong enough to puncture vehicle tires. 6. A stockpile of cover soil was observed to the south of the LCID. The stockpile of soil is used as cover for the LCID and CDLF Phase 5. 7. The sediment basin appeared to be functioning properly. Vegetation is growing on the side slopes of the sediment basin. Continue to monitor and maintain the basin to ensure that the sediment basin is functioning properly. 8. Digital photographs were taken during the inspection. Please contact me if you have any questions or concerns regarding this inspection report.
