Dear Ms. Drummond:
In accordance with the approved Harrisburg Road Landfill SVS/SEMS Results Report', one
permanent landfill gas (LFG) monitoring probe (GP-13) was installed between the railroad
tracks and GP-11 to be included in the monitoring network to determine if methane is
migrating to the property line.
The following letter summarizes this probe installation.
Gas Probe Installation
An S+G representative mobilized to the Harrisburg Road Closed Unlined Landfill Facility on
Tuesday, November 29, 2022 to meet with the drilling team from Geologic Exploration, Inc.
The gas probe GP-13 was installed in accordance with NCAC 02C regulations. GP-13 was
installed to a depth of 20 feet below ground surface using 5 feet of 2-inch diameter PVC riser
and 15 feet of 2-inch diameter, 10-slot PVC well screen. The gas probe was installed using a
4.25-inch hollow stem auger (HAS) and finished with an outer steel casing set to approximately
three (3) feet above grade with concrete pad. The gas probe was equipped with a well cap with
a quick connect fitting and locked.

found on Figure 1.
