On behalf of the Town of Kernersville, WithersRavenel is proposing the installation of one new Type
II groundwater monitoring well at the Kernersville Closed Landfill, Permit No. 34-04, in reference
to the Sections request to replace or repair the consistently dry monitoring well, MW-1, before the
end of 2022. The proposed monitoring well location is shown in Figure 1 and a typical Type II
monitoring well diagram is shown in Figure 2.
