There is adequate and strong evidence that natural attenuation is occurring, and parent products and daughter products are transforming and decreasing. Due to the stability indicated by decades of data and trend analyses and lack of historical detection of Appendix II constituents, I am recommending on behalf of the County that Appendix II and MNA sampling frequency be reduced to once every years. Tears. Appendix I and C&D sampling should be continued on a semi-annual schedule. As discussed in. your February 15, 2022 letter, the presence of 1,4-Dioxane in several samples will be addressed by adding it to Central Landfill's Constituent of Concern List and by g addin an additional surface water sampling location on Cleghorn Creek immediately upgradient from the wastewater treatment facility.
