Attached are the results from the August 2, 2021, monthly methane monitoring at the above -referenced facility for
your files. As shown on the attached Landfill Gas Monitoring Data Form, methane was detected at compliance
monitoring point LFG-2A above the lower explosive limit (LEL) during this monthly methane monitoring event.
A Landfill Gas Remediation Plan (LFGRP) was submitted to the North Carolina Department of Environmental
Quality (NC DEQ) by Smith+Gardner on July 26, 2021 and was approved by the NC DEQ on August 2, 2001. As
proposed in the LFGRP, the installation of vent in the berm adjacent to LFG-2A and re -grading the area to
promote better drainage began on July 23, 2001, If you have any questions or concerns, please contact us at
