Dear Mr. Myers:
The Hazardous Waste Section has reviewed the Aluminum Company of America's Interim
Measures Work Plan for the ALCOA-Badin Landfill (SWMU # 2) Regrading and Cover System
Installation. The public comment period of thirty days for the work plan has passed without any
comments received by the Hazardous Waste Section. This office grants approval of the Interim
Measures Work Plan. Beginning on May 29, 1997, the Aluminum Company of America must
implement the Interim Measures Work Plan in accordance with the schedule in the work plan.
