PURPOSE OF SITE VISIT:
Partial inspection — resolution of observed violation
STATUS OF PAST NOTED VIOLATIONS:
RESOLVED: 15A NCAC 13B .0201 PERMIT REQUIRED (a) expired notification as of June 1, 2014.
OBSERVED VIOLATIONS
None
The item(s) listed above were observed by Section staff and require action on behalf of the facility in order to come into or maintain compliance
with the Statutes, Rules, and/or other regulatory requirements applicable to this facility. Be advised that pursuant to N.C.G.S. 130A-22, an
administrative penalty of up to $15,000 per day may be assessed for each violation of the Solid Waste Laws, Regulations, Conditions of a Permit,
or Order under Article 9 of Chapter 130A of the N.C. General Statutes. Further, the facility and/or all responsible parties may also be subject to
enforcement actions including penalties, injunction from operation of a solid waste management facility or a solid waste collection service and
any such further relief as may be necessary to achieve compliance with the North Carolina Solid Waste Management Act and Rules.

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS
During the December 23, 2014 site inspection it was confirmed that material was on site for storage and/or
processing. The most recent approved notification from the Section had expired on June 1, 2014 and as such
the facility was in violation of 15A NCAC 13B .0201(a). It was determined that NCDOT County
management had changed in the June, 2014 time frame and Mr. Roger Ayers is the new County Engineer for
the region. The notification documents required to resolve the Observed Violation were received on February
2, 2015 and are under review with the Compost & Land Application Branch. No further compliance issues to
note at this time.
Please be aware that all Yard Waste Notifications continue to require an annual renewal by June 1St of
each year and you will have to submit an application by June 1, 2015 for the next operational cycle.
