On site for follow-up audit to NOV. Current weather conditions were dry and sunny. 2. Transfer station floor was clear, recently washed, and actively monitored by transfer station operators. FACILITY COMPLIANCE AUDIT REPORT Division of Waste Management Solid Waste Section Page 2 of 5 3. Little to no windblown materials noted, facility was well -maintained. 4. During the previous audit (5/29/09), inspection of two of the fully -loaded municipal waste hauling vehicles revealed several leaks. Trailers were moved to within the boundaries of the existing leachate collection system for overnight storage. By the following Monday (6/l/09) repair kits had been ordered and trailers were repaired by the end of the week. The NOV for 15A NCAC 13B .0105(c) is considered resolved. 5. NOV for 15A NCAC 13B .0402(3) is resolved in that the County has completed modifications to the drainage system in order to avoid future leachate release off site. Alterations to the drainage system involved modifications to the parking lot and the installation of a new drain (tied to the existing leachate collection drain/system).
