ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: 1) This Facility is a closed Municipal Solid Waste (MSW) Landfill. 2) The site is secured by a locked gate at the Facility entrance. The gate was closed and locked upon FACILITY COMPLIANCE INSPECTION REPORT Division of Waste Management Solid Waste Section 6703_INSP_20210316 Page 2 of 3 my arrival. 3) Signage is posted at the Facility entrance stating the permit number and emergency contact information. 4) The Facility access road is of all-weather construction and is being well maintained at this time. 5) The closed asbestos disposal area was reviewed. This area has a well-established groundcover of native warm season grasses which is mowed throughout the growing season as necessary. 6) This Facility manages landfill gases through a passive venting system. 7) Highly visible edge-of-waste markers have been installed and are being maintained throughout the Facility. 8) The Facility surface water diversion/control features and ditches were reviewed. Overall, the water control features were clear of brush and other woody vegetation and appear well maintained. 9) The Facility stormwater management basins were reviewed. The basins are well maintained with no excess vegetative growth and no visible signs of erosion. 10) Overall, this Facility has a well-established cover crop of native warm season grasses. 11) The Facility cover crop is mowed throughout the growing season as needed. 12) The Facility monitoring wells were reviewed. All wells were locked and labeled with permanently affixed tags and painted with high visibility paint. Access to the wells was stable and clear of brush. This area has a well-established cover crop and no areas of erosion were observed during this Facility Compliance Inspection. 14) No off-site erosion was observed during this Facility Compliance Inspection.
