Samples were collected from seven monitoring wells (HB W-12B, HB W-14, HB W-17B, HB W-20, HB W-21, HB W-22 and background well HBW-28) and three surface -water sampling locations (H132006, HB2008 and, HB2010). The water supply well MAINTE has been disconnected from service and will be abandoned by the end of January. A well abandonment record will be submitted once the abandonment is complete. Public water is now connected to the Maintenance Shop. Laboratory analytical data, field -measured data, and a table of results exceeding water quality standards along with a preliminary explanation of the cause and significance are included on the electronic data deliverable (EDD) submittal. The EDD containing the monitoring data are labeled to reflect the units that are used for reporting. Detection levels and applicable standards have been included for all sampling locations. Surface water standards listed are the water quality standards established for freshwater classification for aquatic life as outlined in 15A NCAC 213 "Classification and Water Quality Standards Applicable to Surface Waters of North Carolina". Groundwater standards listed are the standards outlined in 15A NCAC 2L "Classification of Water Quality Standards applicable to the Groundwaters of North Carolina". If the sample is reported in parts per billion, then the standard is also reported in parts per billion. ND - Not Detected at or above adjusted reporting limit. TNTC - Too Numerous To Count J - Estimated concentration above the adjusted method detection limit and below the adjusted reporting limit. MDL -Adjusted Method Detection Limit. PQL - Practical Quantitation Limit. RL - Reporting Limit - The lowest concentration value that meets project requirements for quantitative data with known precision and bias for a specific analyte in a specific matrix. S - Surrogate 1,2-Diphenylhydrazine decomposes to and cannot be separated from Azobenzene using Method 8270. The result for each analyte is a combined concentration. Consistent with EPA guidelines, unrounded data are displayed and have been used to calculate % recovery and RPD values. LCS(D) - Laboratory Control Sample (Duplicate) MS(D) - Matrix Spike (Duplicate) DUP - Sample Duplicate RPD - Relative Percent Difference NC - Not Calculable. SG - Silica Gel - Clean -Up U - Indicates the compound was analyzed for, but not detected. Acid preservation may not be appropriate for 2 Chloroethylvinyl ether. A separate vial preserved to a pH of 4-5 is recommended in SW846 Chapter 4 for the analysis of Acrolein and Acrylonitrile by EPA Method 8260. N-Nitrosodiphenylamine decomposes and cannot be separated from Diphenylamine using Method 8270. The result reported for each analyte is a combined concentration. Pace Analytical is TNI accredited. Contact your Pace PM for the current list of accredited analytes. TNI -The NELAC Institute. ANALYTE QUALIFIERS IK The recalculated concentration of the calibration standard(s) did not meet method acceptance criteria; this result should be considered an estimated value. v1 The continuing calibration verification was above the method acceptance limit. Any detection for the analyte in the associated samples may have a high bias. v2 The continuing calibration verification was below the method acceptance limit. The analyte was not detected in the associated samples and the sensitivity of the instrument was verified with a reporting limit check standard.
