ADDITIONAL COMMENTS
1. The facility has proper signage.
2. Facility hours are Monday to Friday from 7:00am to 4:00pm. Personnel are onsite during operating hours.
3. The following personnel are SWANA Certified Transfer Station Operators:
Travis Pope, expires 7/16/20
David Wiggs, expires 12/7/20
B. Jordan Eatmon, expires 7/21/2023
4. The facility Permit and Operation Plan were readily available.
5. Reviewed waste screening records for February 3, 2020 through June 1, 2020. Waste screening records
were well organized through June then appeared to not be filed after this period. Please make sure
facility is keeping up with waste screening inspections and they are available readily available for review
at future inspections.
6. The waste type being accepted into the transfer facility was MSW. The Material Recovery Facility(MRF) is
permitted to receive, process, and temporarily store recovered materials as defined in NCGS 130A -290 (a)(24).
7. The leachate collection system was reviewed and is operating properly at this time. Leachate is currently being
collected in a 2,100 gallon tank and pumped as needed.
8. Fire extinguishers available for fire control.
9. The access roads are paved with no erosion problems.
10. The windblown waste is being managed well. Facility staff actively collecting windblown waste during inspection.
11. Digital pictures were taken during the inspection.

or Order under Article 9 of Chapter 130A of the N.C. General Statutes. Further, the facility and/or all responsible parties may also be subject to
enforcement actions including penalties, injunction from operation of a solid waste management facility or a solid waste collection service and any
such further relief as may be necessary to achieve compliance with the North Carolina Solid Waste Management Act and Rules.
