Joey Bowland, Waste Management Site Supervisor, was present on site during this inspection. 1.The Permit to Operate (PTO) expired on March 10, 2018.2.A final inspection was conducted to ensure no waste material was present on or around the facility.3. Transfer station tipping floor and trailer loading bay observed had no waste material present.4. No waste material was observed around facility.5.A Waste Management convenience center is located near the transfer station.6. Approximately 12 pallets of electronics packaged for recycling and associated pallets and cardboard were staged along an inner wall of the transfer station.7.A new permit must be obtained from the Division prior to any waste material being accepted at thistransfer station in the future. Be advised that pursuant to N.C.G.S. 130A-22, an administrative penalty of up to $15,000 per day may be assessed for each violation of the Solid Waste Laws, Regulations, Conditions of a Permit, or Order under Article 9 of Chapter 130A of the N.C. General Statutes. Further, the facility and/or all responsible parties may also be subject to enforcement actions including penalties, injunction from operation of a solid waste management facility or a solid waste collection service and any such further relief as may be necessary to achieve compliance with the North Carolina Solid Waste Management Act and Rules.
