The facility has proper signage. 2. Facility hours are Monday to Friday from 7:00am to 4:00pm. Personnel are onsite during operating hours. 3. The following personnel are SWANA Certified Transfer Station Operators: Travis Pope, expires 7/16/20 David Wiggs, expires 12/7/20 4. Random inspections are being performed and recorded. 5. The waste type being accepted into the transfer facility was MSW. The Material Recovery Facility(MRF) is permitted to receive, process, and temporarily store recovered materials as defined in NCGS 130A -290 (a)(24). 6. The leachate collection system was reviewed and is operating properly at this time. Leachate is currently being collected in a 2,100 gallon tank and pumped as needed. 7. Fire extinguishers available for fire control. 8. The access roads are paved with no erosion problems. 9. The windblown waste is being managed well. Facility staff actively collecting windblown waste during inspection. 10. Digital pictures were taken during the inspection. Be advised that pursuant to N.C.G.S. 130A-22, an administrative penalty of up to $15,000 per day may be assessed for each violation of the Solid Waste Laws, Regulations, Conditions of a Permit, or Order under Article 9 of Chapter 130A of the N.C. General Statutes. Further, the facility and/or all responsible parties may also be subject to enforcement actions including penalties, injunction from operation of a solid waste management facility or a solid waste collection service and any such further relief as may be necessary to achieve compliance with the North Carolina Solid Waste Management Act and Rules.
