Continue working on pulling waste back from the edge of the liner and re -grading on the south slope. The sedimentation control basins on the south side of the landfill need to be cleaned out and risers installed in the ones without them as per our conversation. Wind blown debris on the southeast side of the landfill needs to be picked up —a community service worker was picking up debris during this inspection and prison laborers are scheduled for facility cleanup. Some of the waste boundary markers have been knocked down allowing waste to be disposed closer to the permitted boundary than should be. Please pull the working face back away from these areas and replace the markers. The sedimentation basins need to be cleaned out and new rock laid in them. Continue applying mulch to repair areas to stabilize the soil on the side -slopes. Wind blown debris is being picked up in a timely manner. Soil cover is being applied adequately. As per our conversation, prison labor is due at the facility to begin working on this problem. Also, temporary fencing has been ordered for use at the working face to help prevent debris from leaving the active cell. Continue working on the eroded areas on the backside of the cell and cover the area with mulch to help prevent future erosion.
