As you know, the North Carolina Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services (NCDA&CS), on behalf of the NC State Fair, has been conducting quarterly Landfill Gas Testing, along with annual Groundwater- Testing at the State Fair's former land fill site in Raleigh. As detailed in the recent report recorded groundwater and landfill gas levels have remained consistently within tolerance. With this, the NCDA&CS offers the following; 1. We respectfully request to reduce the quarterly Methane Gas Monitoring reading collections from 5 consecutive days to one day. 2. We respectfully request to reduce the Ground Water Sampling ff•equency from annual to biennial. Please advise if these requests are deemed acceptable. Thank you for considering our proposed changes and please contact me with any questions or concerns at (919) 807-4366 or richard.clark@ncagi-.gov. ncagr•.gov. Sincerely, Richard H.
