As part of your plan to burn make sure you have access to tools or equipment that will help you maintain
control of your fire. A cleared area around the area you intend to burn is essential to maintaining control of your
fire. Check the local weather just prior to starting your fire; to include temperature, wind, and humidity. High
wind and low humidity are hazardous conditions to burn in. Storm damage from the recent winter storms should
be burned in small manageable piles where it is safe to do so.
