No methane gas was detected in the facility structures during this monitoring event. Permanent explosive gas monitoring devices are located in the scale -house and maintenance building. No methane gas was detected in compliance monitoring points at concentrations above the lower explosive limit (LEL, i.e., 5% methane by volume) during the first quarterly methane monitoring event. One detection of methane gas at a concentration above the LEL was noted during this monitoring event at assessment monitoring point MMW-8 as it has been previously. This monitoring location will continue to be measured during future monitoring events. The next monitoring event is tentatively scheduled for April 2019.
