The normal pile size is 12 feet high and 25 feet wide, unlimited length. The temporary pile size for 30 days 12 feet high and 60 feet wide. Temperature of the piles should be monitored daily. The end of the temporary increase should be Feb. 4. If you have any questions please let me know. Atlas Organics is requesting a 30 waive or our pile width limitations. We would like to request that we be able to maintain our piles of ground material at 60ft wide and 12 ft tall. Please let me know if NCDEQ will approve this temporary allowance.
