Also has partial approval letter on cell # 6A Section 1for fill dated, August 27, 2018. PURPOSE OF SITE VISIT: Partial Facility Compliance Inspection. STATUS OF PAST NOTED VIOLATIONS: None OBSERVED VIOLATIONS: None FACILITY COMPLIANCE INSPECTION REPORT Division of Waste Management Solid Waste Section Page 2 of 3 ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: 01 – This facility inspection was conducted to inspect New cell 6A, Section #1. 02 – The cell is being filled. 03 – Facility has stockpiled cover material at edge of cell. 04 – Section #2 is being worked on during fill on Section #1. 05 – Inspected the older cells and found that more cover material was needed. 06 – Be sure to cover ALL waste at least weekly and more if needed. 07 – Need to ensure ALL non-conforming waste is removed from Yard Waste area and taken to proper facility. 08 – Concrete pile is getting large. Need to have crushed soon. 09 – Edge of waste markers and sign are present for the CDLF and the YW area. 10 – Wind Blown trash was a minimum amount. 11 – Screening is being done at the CDLF office. 12 – Cover logs are being conducted and kept on the equipment and I recommend that keeping past months of cover logs at the CDLF office. 13 – John College consulted findings with Brad Gardner, Pasquotank Solid Waste Director after the inspection was conducted. 14 – Digital Pictures were taken during this inspection. Be advised that pursuant to N.C.G.S. 130A-22, an administrative penalty of up to $15,000 per day may be assessed for each violation of the Solid Waste Laws, Regulations, Conditions of a Permit, or Order under Article 9 of Chapter 130A of the N.C. General Statutes. Further, the facility and/or all responsible parties may also be subject to enforcement actions including penalties, injunction from operation of a solid waste management facility or a solid waste collection service and any such further relief as may be necessary to achieve compliance with the North Carolina Solid Waste Management Act and Rules.
