Combined with 2805T-Transfer-1996 PURPOSE OF SITE VISIT: Technical Assistance STATUS OF PAST NOTED VIOLATIONS: None OBSERVED VIOLATIONS: None The item(s) listed above were observed by Section staff and require action on behalf of the facility in order to come into or maintain compliance with the Statutes, Rules, and/or other regulatory requirements applicable to this facility. Be advised that pursuant to N.C.G.S. 130A-22, an administrative penalty of up to $15,000 per day may be assessed for each violation of the Solid Waste Laws, Regulations, Conditions of a Permit, or Order under Article 9 of Chapter 130A of the N.C. General Statutes. Further, the facility and/or all responsible parties may also be subject to enforcement actions including penalties, injunction from operation of a solid waste management facility or a solid waste collection service and any such further relief as may be necessary to achieve compliance with the North Carolina Solid Waste Management Act and Rules. FACILITY COMPLIANCE INSPECTION REPORT Division of Waste Management Solid Waste Section Page 2 of 2 ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: 1 – This site visit was conducted to see progress on Old Inert Debris pile and other areas noted on the July 30, 2018 inspection. 2 – Discussed other uses for the large bridge girders. Conclusion was to put these girders 25 feet off of ditch for setback markers and to keep any of the processed debris from the ditch. 3 – The rebar from the concrete will be sold as scrap metal from an outside vendor. 4 – Contractor was hired to sort and remove this inert debris. Hatchel Concrete. 5 – Working face of the CDLF looks good. 6 – Stockpile of cover material is available on top of working face. 7 – Eroded area on cells is getting better as to using the Approved use of mulch to enhance vegetation growth. 8 – Overall site is looking good. 9 – A follow-up site visit will be conducted in October 2018 to see progress made on the Inert Debris Removal.
