Dear Al:

Attached to this letter is the landfill gas migration monitoring results for the second
quarterly event of 2015 at the Piedmont Landfill in Kernersville, North Carolina. Ten permanent
gas probes, eighteen bar-hole probes, and one on-site structure were monitored on April 28,
2015. We were unable to down-load the site monitoring ID’s or upload the readings to the Waste
Management Landfill Gas Management System. The results are included on the log and the
There was no exceedence of the LEL in the compliance network or on-site structure. Tables are
attached to this report to comply with current NC DENR requirements; however, NC DENR
notification is not required based on no detections of methane and no exceedences of the Lower
Explosive Limit (LEL) during the event.
