PURPOSE OF SITE VISIT: Partial Facility Compliance Inspection. STATUS OF PAST NOTED VIOLATIONS: None OBSERVED VIOLATIONS: None The item(s) listed above were observed by Section staff and require action on behalf of the facility in order to come into or maintain compliance with the Statutes, Rules, and/or other regulatory requirements applicable to this facility. Be advised that pursuant to N.C.G.S. 130A-22, an administrative penalty of up to $15,000 per day may be assessed for each violation of the Solid Waste Laws, Regulations, Conditions of a Permit, or Order under Article 9 of Chapter 130A of the N.C. General Statutes. Further, the facility and/or all responsible parties may also be subject to enforcement actions including penalties, injunction from operation of a solid waste management facility or a solid waste collection service and any such further relief as may be necessary to achieve compliance with the North Carolina Solid Waste Management Act and Rules. Life of Site permit. 02 - Facility has adequate signage and security. 03 - Facility has 4 Certified Landfill Operations Specialist: Johnny Ray Roscoe, expires 12/16/2018, Ronald G. Brownfield, expires10/19/2019, Kimley L. Brown, expires 9/27/19 and Justin K. Harrison, expires 9/27/2019. 04 – This follow up inspection was to see progress made on the surveying and side slope work. 05 – Survey markers / flags were present and marking the landfill footprint. 06 – Edge of waste markers to be re-installed soon. 07 – Side Slopes have been seeded and graded. Some slight eroded areas being re-graded. 08 – Facility is utilizing mulch to help stabilize the side slopes and to promote vegetation growth. 09 – Working face is being kept in a small area as to be able to cover if heavy rainfall eminent. 10 – Facility has cover material on top of landfill ready to be used. 11 – White goods are being stored upright. 14 – Scrap metal pile has just been removed. 15 – Electronics are being handled well. 16 – Digital pictures taken during this inspection.
