Be advised that pursuant to N.C.G.S. 130A-22, an administrative penalty of up to $15,000 per day may be assessed for each violation of the Solid Waste Laws, Regulations, Conditions of a Permit, or Order under Article 9 of Chapter 130A of the N.C. General Statutes. Further, the facility and/or all responsible parties may also be subject to enforcement actions including penalties, injunction from operation of a solid waste management facility or a solid waste collection service and any such further relief as may be necessary to achieve compliance with the North Carolina Solid Waste Management Act and Rules. FACILITY COMPLIANCE INSPECTION REPORT Division of Waste Management Solid Waste Section Page 2 of 3 ADDITIONAL COMMENTS; 01 – 02 - Facility is secured by a Chain Link Fence and Locking gate. 03 - Access roads are made of all-weather materials. 04 - Signage meets permit requirements. 05 - Scrap Metal and White goods area is being well. Scrap metal pile is getting full. 06 - All White Goods containing CFC’s are being separated from other metals and are standing upright until CFC is removed. 07 - Facility has completed the small tree removal on the west side of this CDLF. Seeding of side slopes in process. 08 - A new haul road has been added to help incoming loads of CD waste to the top of the LF. 09 - Need to add traffic control signage back to the CDLF, YW site and Inert Debris locations. 10 - Facility is currently working towards having a smaller working face. 11 - Cover is being added weekly and more frequently as needed. 12 – Digital pictures taken during this inspection.
