None

The item(s) listed above were observed by Section staff and require action on behalf of the facility in order to come into or maintain compliance
with the Statutes, Rules, and/or other regulatory requirements applicable to this facility. Be advised that pursuant to N.C.G.S. 130A-22, an
administrative penalty of up to $15,000 per day may be assessed for each violation of the Solid Waste Laws, Regulations, Conditions of a Permit,
or Order under Article 9 of Chapter 130A of the N.C. General Statutes. Further, the facility and/or all responsible parties may also be subject to
enforcement actions including penalties, injunction from operation of a solid waste management facility or a solid waste collection service and any
such further relief as may be necessary to achieve compliance with the North Carolina Solid Waste Management Act and Rules.

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS;

01 - This facility has proper signage and is secured by locking gates.
02 - Roads are made of all-weather construction and maintained well.
03 - The working face of the CDLF is kept to a small area as to be able to cover quickly. Need to cover exposed waste
down the bottom sides of the cell and pick up windblown trash. Total cover should be done weekly. Top is done
daily for the most part if weather allows.
04 - The working face has and keeps a stockpile of approved cover material on the top of the cell for easy access.
05 - No unpermitted waste was noted during this facility inspection. One tire needs to be removed for the working face.
06 - The CDLF unit is permitted to receive and dispose of waste generated within the Dare Co. boundaries consistent with
the resolution passed by the Dare Co. Commissioners on August 02, 2004.
07 - All Inert Debris are separated from other waste and stockpiled for grinding.
08 - Asphalt is separated from other waste and stockpiled for grinding.
09 - Land Clearing Debris stockpiled for grinding. Some has been ground.
10 - Wood pallets noted were generated from C&D activities.
11 - White goods/scrap metal area needs to be managed better. Keep all white goods containing CFC’s upright
until the CFC is removed.
12 - All records for incoming solid waste are kept at the scale house and has required information.
13 - All groundwater wells accessed were locked and have ID tags on the well casings.
14 - Groundwater and LF Gas monitoring records not reviewed today.
15 - Digital pictures taken during this facility inspection with some attached to this report.
16 - Corrective action is needed as to the results of this inspection.
