Be advised that pursuant to N.C.G.S. 130A-22, an administrative penalty of up to $15,000 per day may be assessed for each violation of the Solid Waste Laws, Regulations, Conditions of a Permit, or Order under Article 9 of Chapter 130A of the N.C. General Statutes. Further, the facility and/or all responsible parties may also be subject to enforcement actions including penalties, injunction from operation of a solid waste management facility or a solid waste collection service and any such further relief as may be necessary to achieve compliance with the North Carolina Solid Waste Management Act and Rules. FACILITY COMPLIANCE INSPECTION REPORT Division of Waste Management Solid Waste Section Page 2 of 3 ADDITIONAL COMMENTS; 1 – Facility is still grazing this closed MSWLF. 2 – May need to over seed the summer grasses with a winter cover to keep good cover during the winter being cows are kept there all year round. Facility has a contract with a local farmer who owns the cattle. 3 – Ground Water monitoring wells observed were locked. The wells observed have the identification tags replaced. Will look at all wells on next inspection. 4 – Minimal erosion found even though the site has cows grazing on it. A few repair areas on the North and South ends. Also 1 area on the Southeast corner close to the scrap metal area. No exposed waste was observed. 5 – Edge of Waste Markers are up around the footprint of this closed MSWLF. 6 – Digital picture were taken during this inspection.
