The decals or lettering shall include the name, town name, phone number & permit number. All decals or lettering on the pumper vehicle shall be no less than three inches in height and plainly visible. Inspected new vehicle tag#HM5096, VIN 1HTGRSJT3DJ351674, 1200 gallon capacity – the phone number on both sides of this vehicle is less than three inches in height. Correct the phone number on both sides to the required three inches or greater in height. Inspected older vehicle tag#YA014569, VIN 1AA08X7YW021164, 3500 gallons – the town name & phone number on the driver side are very faint. Repaint the town name & phone number on the driver side (at a minimum three inches in height) so that it is plainly visible. This damaged lettering was noted on 6/26/2015. Please submit photos to me (within 30 days) with the needed corrective actions for both vehicles. Include a ruler in the pictures for reference on the required height. The tanks appear structurally sound & securely attached on both vehicles. 2. Outlet covers were on both vehicles. A drip was noted at the outlet on vehicle tag#YA014569 & Mr. Hall instructed an employee to place a bucket under the outlet. Repair the outlet as needed. 3. These two vehicles shall be under the 2018 firm permit for possible septage pump jobs. 4. Reviewed truck pumping logs. Please ensure that the town name (for physical location of pumping event) and which wastewater treatment plant is used for discharge are noted on the truck logs. 5. Thank you for your time. Further, the facility and/or all responsible parties may also be subject to enforcement actions including penalties, injunction from operation of a solid waste management facility or a solid waste collection service and any such further relief as may be necessary to achieve compliance with the North Carolina Solid Waste Management Act and Rules.
