You or your firm are on record as the owners or financially responsible party for land-disturbing activity at the subject site, which is presently in violation of the City of Charlotte Soil Erosion and Sedimentation Control
Ordinance (Chapter 17 of the City Code). The attached Inspection Report/Notice of Violation documents an inspection and outlines the specifics of the violation and the corrective actions necessary to bring the site into
compliance with the City Ordinance. The deadline for corrective action is noted on line 11. If these requirements are not met and inspected by this office by the date noted on line 11, you will be liable
for civil penalties as determined by the City Engineer of up to $5000 per day from that date of this Notice of Violation forward. The City of Charlotte will take any steps deemed necessary to secure compliance with
these requirements. I urge you to give this matter your immediate attention. Should you have any questions or wish to arrange an inspection, contact me at 704-517-7781. You should not assume the property is in compliance with the ordinance until I have notified you.

Reference: 1016 Montana Dr Case Number: NOVEC-2013-00066 Pursuant to the attached Notice of Violation, an inspection has been made of the subject property.
The required measures have been installed and/or repaired. This action brings the site into
compliance with the City of Charlotte Erosion and Sedimentation Control Ordinance. Please be
aware that you will be responsible for maintaining the erosion control measures until permanent
ground cover has been established. Should significant sedimentation occur despite measures taken,
additional measures will be required.
