Be advised that pursuant to N.C.G.S. 130A-22, an administrative penalty of up to $15,000 per day may be assessed for each violation of the Solid Waste Laws, Regulations, Conditions of a Permit, or Order under Article 9 of Chapter 130A of the N.C. General Statutes. Further, the facility and/or all responsible parties may also be subject to enforcement actions including penalties, injunction from operation of a solid waste management facility or a solid waste collection service and any such further relief as may be necessary to achieve compliance with the North Carolina Solid Waste Management Act and Rules. FACILITY COMPLIANCE INSPECTION REPORT Division of Waste Management Solid Waste Section Page 2 of 2 ADDITIONAL COMMENTS 1. Once a year on site meeting. Discussed past audits & site conditions. No soil samples taken for 2017. Discussed how soil samples shall be taken by the permit holder in the fall of 2018. 2. The winter cover crop appears to becoming well established at this time. 3. It appears that the approved setbacks are being met (but were not measured at this time) and that the field markers are adequate. No sign of land application outside the permitted boundaries. 4. No sign of heavy or recent application. No odors noted. 5. Site logs were reviewed and it appears that the required information is being maintained. Site is managed as one field and permit renewal shall occur in May 2018. 6. The required signs are posted and the access road is adequate. 7. Permit holder stated that the property entrance shall be locked in the future. When this occurs please contact me in regards to key/combination to allow access for future inspections.
