FACILITY COMPLIANCE INSPECTION REPORT Division of Waste Management Solid Waste Section Page 2 of 3 ADDITIONAL COMMENTS The facility is a Type 1 Solid Waste (yard waste) facility which occupies less than two acres of land and processes and stores less than 6,000 cubic yards of material per calendar quarter. This facility may receive untreated and unpainted wood waste, silviculture waste, yard trash, and yard waste for treatment and processing. 1. This site is not open to the public. It is only used by TAP Construction, Inc. employees. 2. Although the site is larger than two acres, the land-clearing debris processing area of the facility operates in an area less than two acres in size. Clearly visible, permanent markers must be put on site to show the ‘edge of waste’. These markers would show the less than two acre area that waste can be put on. 3. Land clearing waste and clean wood is brought on site and ground as needed. A tub grinder is used for grinding. 4. Tires, scrap metal, and painted brick were noted at time of inspection. Facility removes unacceptable was as it is spotted and sets it in a pile until it can be taken to Johnston County Landfill for proper disposal. Dump ticket provided on November 30, 2017. 5. An interior roadway has been made of all-weather construction and is being maintained in good condition. 6. There is at least a 25 foot access path around the site for fire control vehicles. 7. All setbacks are in place. 8. No standing water was observed during the inspection FACILITY COMPLIANCE INSPECTION REPORT Division of Waste Management Solid Waste Section Page 3 of 3 Please contact me if you have any questions or concerns regarding this inspection report.
