The facility consists of a construction and demolition debris (C&D) landfill, a wood waste treatment and processing (T&P) operation, a C&D T&P operation, a land clearing and inert debris (LCID) mining operation, an inert material crushing operation, a mobile home deconstruction T&P operation and postconsumer recycled asphalt shingle (PRAS) collection. 2. The facility is open Monday through Friday 7:30 am to 5:00 pm and Saturday 8:00 am to 12:00 pm. 3. The facility permit, site plan, and operations plan were discussed. 4. The facility permit approves the operation of Phase 1A-1 and Phase 2. 5. The operation of Phase 1A-1 was approved by the current facility permit issued in November 2017. 6. The facility has begun operation of Phase 1A-1. 7. The facility has installed edge of waste markers along the perimeter of Phase 1A-1 and future Phase 1A-2. 8. Phase 2 contains areas of intermediate and final cover. 9. The City of Asheboro fire department can be contacted to address an emergency at the facility. 10. The facility has all-weather access roads. 11. The facility is secured by a locked gate. 12. The facility has proper signage. 13. The PTO expiration date is October 25, 2021. 14. Be advised that pursuant to N.C.G.S. 130A-22, an administrative penalty of up to $15,000 per day may be assessed for each violation of the Solid Waste Laws, Regulations, Conditions of a Permit, or Order under Article 9 of Chapter 130A of the N.C. General Statutes. Further, the facility and/or all responsible parties may also be subject to enforcement actions including penalties, injunction from operation of a solid waste management facility or a solid waste collection service and any such further relief as may be necessary to achieve compliance with the North Carolina Solid Waste Management Act and Rules.
