FACILITY COMPLIANCE INSPECTION REPORT Division of Waste Management Solid Waste Section Page 2 of 2 ADDITIONAL COMMENTS 1. This facility consists of two 8,000-gallon in ground concrete tanks, two 8,000-gallon steel tanks, one 10,000- gallon steel tank and one 1,000-gallon concrete screening tank. These six tanks have a total capacity of 43,000 gallons for the screening and storage of domestic septage (including portable toilet waste). 1. Appropriate signage was in place along the access road. 2. It appeared that the setback requirements were being maintained. 3. A couple of small piles of septage debris was observed on the ground next to the buried tanks. As a reminder, all solid waste that come into contact with septage must be treated as septage and disposed of properly. 4. All tanks at the facility appeared to be structurally sound and not leaking. Access around the tanks has been maintained to allow for inspection. 5. It appeared that facility operations were being carried out as detailed in the approved permitting requirements. 6. Vectors were not present at the time of inspection nor were objectionable odors observed. 7. No one other than the permittee or an employee of Wesson Septic Tank Service may discharge septage at this location unless the Solid Waste Section is notified and approval granted.
