ADDITIONAL COMMENTS
1. The permitted Septage Detention and Treatment facility consist of one 5,000-gallon and one 10,000-gallon above
ground steel tanks for a total capacity of 15,000 gallons for storage of domestic septage, grease trap pumping and
commercial/industrial septage.
2. Appropriate signage was in place.
3. Access around the facility was well maintained to allow for inspection.
4. The tanks at the facility appeared to be structurally sound. The 10,000-gallon tank was observed to have a
leak from possible overfilling out of a hole in the top. Tanks must be maintained in a manner where there
is no leakage.
5. Vectors were not present at the time of inspection nor were objectionable odors observed.
6. Septage appears to be transferred to/from the detention facility in a safe and sanitary manner.
