ADDITIONAL COMMENTS;
1 – This Facility is a closed Municipal Solid Waste (MSW) Landfill.
2 – The site is secured by a chain link fence with locked gates at the two Facility entrances.
3 – The Facility access road is constructed of all-weather construction and is being well maintained.
4 – Need to replace signage on the 2 entrance gates stating the permit number, emergency contact information (911).
5 – Permanent, highly visible, Edge of Waste markers are in place and are being maintained as required.
6 – This Facility manages landfill gas through a passive venting system. All the vents are maintained.
7 – The Facility monitoring wells were reviewed. Access to wells were maintained. All wells were secured by
functioning locks. Need to replace back hinge on all well heads. Need to replace the identification on all wells as to
fading has occurred as was noted on the December 05, 2016 inspection report.
8 – The Facility has a well-established native grass cover to prevent erosion.
9 – Site has been recently mowed and looks good.
10 – Digital pictures taken during the Site inspection. Some attached.
11 – No violations were observed during this Facility Compliance Inspection.
12 – Corrective measures are required upon the results of this Facility Compliance Inspection.

administrative penalty of up to $15,000 per day may be assessed for each violation of the Solid Waste Laws, Regulations, Conditions of a Permit,
or Order under Article 9 of Chapter 130A of the N.C. General Statutes. Further, the facility and/or all responsible parties may also be subject to
enforcement actions including penalties, injunction from operation of a solid waste management facility or a solid waste collection service and any
such further relief as may be necessary to achieve compliance with the North Carolina Solid Waste Management Act and Rules.
