The Final Permit Modification Application for the Alternative Final Cover System Pilot project (Permit No. 3402-MSWLF-
1997) that was submitted to the Department for review on June 30, 2017 contained within Appendix C NC Land Quality
Section Correspondence pertaining to modifications to Sediment Basin No. 1 to accommodate the additional peak flows
due to the impermeable surface of the proposed pilot project area. Attached is the Letter of Approval from the Land
Quality Section for the proposed modifications.
