ADDITIONAL COMMENTS
1. This facility consists of one 1,550-gallon plastic tank for the storage of portable toilet waste, including
waste from recreational vehicles. Storage or treatment of any liquid or solid waste other than those
specified in the approved application for this permit is prohibited.
SDTF-56-03
2. The tank appeared to be empty. Facility staff stated that the tank has never been used.
3. Appropriate signage will need to be in place along the access to the tank before use.
4. A small amount of vegetation was observed around the tank and secondary containment. State regulations require
that the vegetation must be cleared to a distance of at least 5 feet.
5. Vectors were not present at the time of inspection nor were objectionable odors observed.
6. As mentioned in the previous inspection, the current permit has Chris Daly listed at the contact on page
one. The permit renewal will be issued with a current responsible party. In addition, a non-pumper
septage firm application form was given to the company which is to be submitted along with the
appropriate fee. The application and required annual fee was received by the Solid Waste Section on July
5, 2017.
