The attached site map, prepared by Bunnell-Lammons Engineering, Inc., (BLE) shows both the original proposed locations of these wells (in black), as found in the Landfill’s Water Quality Monitoring Plan, and the revised proposed locations (in green). A detail view of the site map is also attached to this submittal. Santek wishes to relocate these proposed monitoring wells because the original proposed locations for wells MW-19, MW-20, MW-21, and MW-22 would have them placed in areas used for cut and fill during cell construction activities, as illustrated in the BLE map and attached map detail. Santek also wishes to relocate proposed monitoring well MW-18 to improve access. Further, by relocating the five monitoring wells farther from the anticipated path of perimeter road extensions, the possibility of incidents involving trucks or other site equipment is reduced and a safe environment for field technicians, collecting samples during semi-annual monitoring events, is facilitated. Ms. Elizabeth Werner, Hydrogeologist July 10, 2017 Page 2 It is important to note that groundwater monitoring wells MW-18 through MW-22 have not yet been installed at the Landfill; the relocations outlined in this letter and attached figure are for proposed wells only.
