1. Rule .0838(a)(12) All septage discharges, including aerial drift from discharges, shall be made within
permitted boundaries of the land application site

or Order under Article 9 of Chapter 130A of the N.C. General Statutes. Further, the facility and/or all responsible parties may also be subject to
enforcement actions including penalties, injunction from operation of a solid waste management facility or a solid waste collection service and any
such further relief as may be necessary to achieve compliance with the North Carolina Solid Waste Management Act and Rules.

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS

Proper signage Application outside current permit boundary

1 – Site has proper signage
2 – Good access road. Bales of hay need removal in timely manner next to path
3 – Most markers were up but one missing in SE corner of field 2
4 – No objectionable odors noted
5 – Septage was seen in newly acquired land adjacent to field 1 not in the current permit. Contact Raleigh office for a
permit modification
6 – Crops are present according to the nutrient management plan. Field 1 has recent applications and should adhere to
the 30-day harvest time table. Field 2 should be cut soon due to its growth
