We have a few minor comments/revision requests on the Water Quality Monitoring and Landfill Gas Monitoring plans
for the referenced landfill.
WQ Monitoring Plan (revised May 2017)
Revise the table contained in the WQ plan Appendix to bring up to date (see attached table for requested
revisions)
LFG Monitoring Plan (revised June 2016)
Since the time of our initial review, the Section has an updated LFG data form (rev March 2017). Add the
attached LFG monitoring data form to Appendix A of the LFG plan.
Other
Please add the appropriate professional stamp to the title page of each monitoring plan. The plan documents
are to be stand‐alone documents included as attachments or appendices in the permit application.
Please make the necessary revisions and submit final plans (electronic copies) as soon as practical so we can proceed
with your permit renewal.

Notice: This form and any information attached to it are "Public Records" as defined in NC General Statute 132-1. As such, these documents are
available for inspection and examination by any person upon request (NC General Statute 132-6).

Attach a test location map or drawing. Report methane readings as both % LEL and % CH4 by volume.
Convert % CH4 (by volume) to % LEL as follows: % methane (by volume)/20 = % LEL.
*Hydrogen Sulfide (H2S) gas monitoring may be required for Construction & Demolition Landfills (CDLFs). See
individual permit conditions and/or Facility LFG monitoring plan.
