The plans are approved with the following comments/clarifications: 1. For the sub-slab soil gas sample ports, are they are for depressurization readings or will you collect samples? 2. The ports should be at least 5 feet from the exterior walls. 3. Conduct inspections of the gravel/piping for each house and inspections of the vapor barrier before the slab is poured. Those inspections should include photographs and field logs to be submitted as appendix for final deliverable. Be advised that this approval from the Brownfields Program does not waive any applicable requirement to obtain any necessary permits, licenses or certifications for the above listed activities nor does it waive any requirement to comply with applicable law for such activities.
