ADDITIONAL COMMENTS
1. Ensure there is no ponding water over waste and that there is positive drainage over cap. When ponding
water is observed be sure to check for leachate seeps along the slopes and toe of the landfill.
2. Landfill slopes and perimeter areas need mowing. Please wait until it is dry to do the mowing to ensure the integrity
of the cap. At a minimum, the small trees that can be cut by hand need to be removed from within the waste foot
print.
3. Permanent edge of waste markers need to be maintained around all landfill footprints.
4. Corrective measures are necessary at this site based on observations during this inspection. Corrective
measures should be completed within 30 days’ receipt of this report.
