Per our previous discussion on the phone, below is a status update for both the FGD Landfill and Structural Fill 
Groundwater Assessments. 

FGD Landfill  
• Groundwater sampling and analysis of select wells was added to the assessment; 
• Analytical results were received from the lab around April 3, 2017; and 
• Final report will be submitted to NCDEQ DWM no later than 5/31/2017 

Structural Fill Groundwater Assessment 
• Erosion and Sediment Control permitting package will be sent to NCDEQ Land Quality 4/7/2017 

Due to these contributing factors, the proposed schedule for each assessment will be shifted.  Duke Energy 
respectfully requests an extension to these schedules.
